Saw this western movie when I was pretty young. The western movie has this very specific and fascinating ending - where the gun-runners are trapped in a large deadend canyon and the men realize this is it, no escape. So they spread out in a long line (about 8 of them give or take) and they stand their ground as a group of Indians charge them on horse back and the Indians wipe the gun-runners out. Very unusal ending, especially for back then. May not have been a well made movie, a surprise ending either way.
(The gunrunners may have been Confederate soldiers or ex-confederates, but not sure of this soldier part.)
Anyone know the name of this western?
It was Color, probably 1950's or 1960's.
Movie had NO big star names, like Jimmy Stewart, Robert Mitchum or Fonda.
Had to have had some solid B actors.
